Cherry Point vineyard's thirty-four acres lie on the rolling
hills that rise gently from the sea. Sweet-smelling gravelly
soil and a mellow coastal climate are two essential elements
in the success of Cherry Point's lively varietal wines.
The real secret lies in the warm and generous personalities
of vinters, Wayne and Helena Ulrich.
Since 1990 the Ulrich's have dedicated themselves completely
to the long and slow growing of their grapes that yields
such complex flavours. They are happy to share their philosophy
of winemaking with their guests, to the point that the
Ulrich's have opened their home to overnight visitors
in British Columbia's only Winery Bed and Breakfast.
The doors are always open at Cherry Point and the welcome
is warm. The wine shop is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until
6 p.m. Winery tours can be arranged, please call for appointment.
