Durrance Lake

Durrance Lake is located within the Gowlland Tod Provincial Park on the Saanich Peninsula, 21 km northwest of Victoria.

Access to this small lake from Victoria is off Highway 17 (Pat Bay Hwy), via West Saanich Road, Wallace Drive and Durrance Road.

Size: 8.4 hectares

Elevation: 137 metres

Depth: Maximum 16 metres/52 feet

Fish Stocked: Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout

Fish Found: Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Sunfish

Best Fishing: April to June, September to October

Facilities: Cartop Boat Launch

Nearest Lakes: Elk & Beaver Lakes

Nearest Park: Gowlland Tod Provincial Park

Additional Info: Cartop boats can be launched at a park site on the lake. Fishing restrictions apply. Electric Motors only. Facilities nearby.
