Kains Lake is located alongside the Holberg Road, 14 km west of Port Hardy.

Fish Found: Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden Char

Best Fishing: April to June, September to October

Facilities: Boat Launch, Campsite

Nearest Lakes: Nahwitti Lake, Georgie Lake

Nearest Park: God's Pocket Provincial Park

Additional Info: Some of the best cutthroat fishing in North Island.
