Silver Lake is located 30 km (by road) west of Chemainus.

Access is via the Mount Breton road (Branch 1) off Copper Canyon Main logging road, which runs north of the Chemainus River.

Elevation: 850 metres

Fish Found: Cutthroat Trout

Best Fishing: June, September to October

Facilities: Cartop Boat Launch (Small Cartops)

Nearest Lake: Rheinhart Lake

Nearest Park: Chemainus River Provincial Park

Additional Info: 4x4 recommended. Silver Lake's high elevation and shallow depths provide good fly-fishing.
