Call Toll Free from Canada/USA: 1-800-689-9025

When can I make a Reservation?
Individual campsite reservations can be made through the Discover Camping Campground Reservation Service from April 1st to September 15th, up to three months in advance.

Most parks allow reservations up to two days prior to arrival date at the campground, but several parks now allow real time, up to the minute reservations, through the Discover Camping service.

Up to the minute Discover Camping reservations allow you to view and reserve available sites in real-time, and begin your camping that day.

At the Campground
A reservation confirmation number is issued for each reservation. Please have this number available on arrival at the campground or for reservation changes or cancellations. Reservation service and campsite fees must be paid in full, by VISA, MasterCard or American Express at the time of booking.

Visitors have until 11:00 am after the first reserved night to claim the reserved campsite. If the reservation has not been cancelled or claimed by the 11:00 am deadline, the reservation is considered a no-show; there will be no refund and the campsite may be released to another camper by the park operator.

The maximum length of stay in most provincial parks is 14 nights per park, per calendar year. Exception: Maximum stay at Haynes Point Park is 7 days. Limits are posted in parks.

Book early as campgrounds can fill up quickly. Reservable dates vary from park to park. Most reservable campgrounds also offer some campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reservation and Call Centre Fees
Reservation Fees listed are in addition to campsite fees, and other park-user fees.

Long Weekends
If you are booking a campsite on a statutory long weekend, you will be required to reserve a designated minimum of three nights and all fees are non-refundable once on site. Three-day long weekends are: Victoria Day (May), BC Day (August) and Labour Day (September).

Campsite Fee
The nightly campsite fee is levied on a per party, per vehicle basis depending on the campground and the level of service provided. Additional fees for second vehicles (1/2 the campsite fee – see Party Size definition) must be paid in cash on arrival at the campground.

Fees for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities
All reservation service fees apply for seniors and persons with disabilities. If you reside in British Columbia, are 65 years or older and have a BC PharmaCare card, you may camp for half the full campsite fee before June 15 and after Labour Day. This discount applies to the senior and his/her spouse only. You and your party may be exempt from campsite fees if you reside in British Columbia and have been issued a Release of Information form issued from the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance confirming that you meet the criteria of the Persons with Disabilities under the “Employment and Assistance Program” OR a Letter of Eligibility stating that your child is eligible for the “At Home Program” issued by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

You must supply your BC PharmaCare card number or reference your Release of Information Form/Letter of Eligibility when making your reservation and present the applicable card/document on arrival at the campground. A second piece of identification is also required.

Note: Discounts do not apply to group picnicking, back country or marine park fees in provincial parks.

Party Size for BC Parks
Due to wear and tear, maintenance and conservation factors within our parks, limits must be placed on the Party Size – the number of people and vehicles each campsite can accommodate. In British Columbia provincial parks, a camping party is defined as follows:
1–4 persons 16 years of age or older.
A maximum of 8 persons including children (15 years of age and younger).
Vehicles per camping party:
One vehicle and trailer. Either one (but not both) may be an RV.
A second vehicle (non-RV) may be allowed on site for an additional nightly charge of 1/2 the campsite fee. This additional 1/2 nightly fee is payable in cash, only on arrival at the campground.
Note: A towed vehicle is not considered a second vehicle.
Campsite Maximum:
One camping party per site, unless otherwise authorized.
If you arrive at the park with more people or vehicles than you have reserved for, there may be an additional nightly campsite fee, or accommodations may not be available.
