can I make a Reservation? Individual campsite reservations can be made
through the Discover Camping Campground Reservation Service from April 1st to
September 15th, up to three months in advance. Most
parks allow reservations up to two days prior to arrival date at the campground,
but several parks now allow real time, up to the minute reservations, through
the Discover Camping service. Up
to the minute Discover Camping reservations allow you to view and reserve available
sites in real-time, and begin your camping that day. At
the Campground
A reservation confirmation number is issued for each reservation. Please have
this number available on arrival at the campground or for reservation changes
or cancellations. Reservation service and campsite fees must be paid in full,
by VISA, MasterCard or American Express at the time of booking.
Visitors have until 11:00 am after the first reserved night to claim the reserved
campsite. If the reservation has not been cancelled or claimed by the 11:00 am
deadline, the reservation is considered a no-show; there will be no refund and
the campsite may be released to another camper by the park operator.
The maximum length of stay in most provincial parks is 14 nights per park, per
calendar year. Exception: Maximum stay at Haynes Point Park is 7 days. Limits
are posted in parks.
Book early as campgrounds can fill up quickly. Reservable dates vary from park
to park. Most reservable campgrounds also offer some campsites on a first-come,
first-served basis. Reservation

All
reservation fees apply fully to Seniors and Persons with Disabilities. To
change or cancel a reservation, there is an additional non-refundable fee. The
Call Centre fee applies to campsite reservations, reservation changes and reservation
cancellations. Exception:
The Call Centre fee will not apply to reservations for the Berg Lake trail, and
for Bowron Lake, as these parks cannot currently be reserved though the Discover
Camping website. Changing
or Cancelling Reservations The costs of changing or cancelling a reservation
vary, depending on how the original reservation was made (website or call center)
and how late the change or cancellation is made. Please refer to the following

Definition
of a Change and Cancellation Moving between campgrounds in the same park
is considered a change. For example; Changing the date of a stay within same park
is a change. For
parks with more than one campground, it is possible to change campgrounds if space
is available. Transfers of a reservation from one park to another park is considered
a cancellation, and a new reservation must be made.
Changes must be made a minimum of two days prior to arrival date. No
Refund for No-show Visitors have until 11:00 am after the first reserved
night to claim the reserved campsite after which the reservation is considered
a no-show; there will be no refund and the campsite may be released to another
camper by the park operator. Group
Camping and Picnicking Reservations Many provincial parks offer reservable
camping and picnicking facilities for groups of 15 or more people. Visit the Group

Lake Canoe Circuit Reservations For information and/or reservations for

Robson – Berg Lake Trail Reservations Hiking reservations can only be

Long
Weekends If you are booking a campsite on a statutory long weekend, you
will be required to reserve a designated minimum of three nights and all fees
are non-refundable once on site. Three-day long weekends are: Victoria Day (May),
BC Day (August) and Labour Day (September). Campsite
Fee The nightly campsite fee is levied on a per party, per vehicle basis
depending on the campground and the level of service provided. Additional fees
for second vehicles (1/2 the campsite fee – see Party Size definition) must be
paid in cash on arrival at the campground. Fees
for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities All reservation service fees
apply for seniors and persons with disabilities. If you reside in British Columbia,
are 65 years or older and have a BC PharmaCare card, you may camp for half the
full campsite fee before June 15 and after Labour Day. This discount applies to
the senior and his/her spouse only. You and your party may be exempt from campsite
fees if you reside in British Columbia and have been issued a Release of Information
form issued from the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance confirming
that you meet the criteria of the Persons with Disabilities under the “Employment
and Assistance Program” OR a Letter of Eligibility stating that your child
is eligible for the “At Home Program” issued by the Ministry of Children and Family
Development. You
must supply your BC PharmaCare card number or reference your Release of Information
Form/Letter of Eligibility when making your reservation and present the applicable
card/document on arrival at the campground. A second piece of identification is
also required. Note:
Discounts do not apply to group picnicking, back country or marine park fees in
provincial parks.
