With a beautiful park-like setting and quiet atmosphere, you will find the time with us worthwhile. Port Hardy offers many outdoor opportunities, such as kayaking, hiking (our historical Cape Scott Trail is quite famous), golfing, eco tours, and whale watching, but Port Hardy is perhaps best renowned for both saltwater and freshwater fishing.

Nestled amongst the lush flora of Port Hardy's rain forest and along the banks of the beautiful Quatse River, the Pioneer Inn & Riverside RV has the best of both worlds. Minutes away from the ocean, many of our guests enjoy fishing a multitude of tidal species, while others choose a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Quatse River to fish its abundant steelhead.

The Pioneer Inn & Riverside RV Park is in the enviable position of being the closest hotel to the BC Ferries terminal. The BC Ferries Inside Passage Cruise to Prince Rupert can be undertaken one way or round trip from this terminal. We are also close to the airport and bus depot. Transportation is available to and from any of these locations.

We provide suites, rooms, and large two-room kitchen units. Services include free local calls, complimentary in-room coffee, cable TV, and laundry.

Our licensed restaurant, Snuggles Restaurant and Lounge, is open daily. Snuggles combines classic and original cuisine with affordable prices, an open fireplace, and olde worlde decor to provide you with a unique dining experience that is sure to create fond and mouthwatering memories for diners. Fresh halibut and salmon are available in season. Reservations at Snuggles Restaurant are advisable.

Accommodation reservations can be made with us using any major credit card. Our cancellation policy is 48 hours notice. Cash and traveller's cheques are also accepted.
