Show Vancouver Island which school is tops!

Put together a school team and win great prizes. Your school's name will be printed on team T-shirts. This division has been specially created for grade 8's and above and priced to encourage kids to be physically active. School teams must have a minimum of 10 student entrants; no maximum. Each Adult Team Captain (one per 10 kids) receives a free entry.

*	Registrations after April 24th at 5pm will NOT receive a T-Shirt. We cannot print the school name on the youth size shirts, so please order adult size shirts only.

There are three chances to win $500 for your school!

	Biggest elementary school team of students (in the Kid's Fun Run)
	Biggest high school team of students
	Biggest high school or elementary team as a percentage of enrolment (minimum 100 enrolled)

Be a HeartSmart™ School and enter "The Great Schools Cup Challenge" for the top pledge raising school (Spectrum School- winners for 3 years)

Get Your School Team Together!

	Put up sign-up posters on the bulletin boards and hallways
	Build a Display area in your entrance hall or cafeteria
	Make P/A announcements
	Challenge other school teams, clubs, departments.
	Start a training group
	SportMed BC and BC Athletics recommends kids in grade 7 and under to participate in the 1.5k Fun Run and urges any young kids who do enter the 10k to take it easy.
