Washington State
Ferries operates only one international scheduled ferry service,
between Anacortes in Washington State and Sidney on the Saanich
Peninsula of Vancouver Island.
The ferry route winds through the San Juan Islands (Lopez and Orca
Islands) amidst spectacular scenery.

If you are travelling
between Anacortes and Sidney, B.C. or if you are ravelling from
the San Juan Islands to or from Sidney, B.C., you may make a reservation
with Washington State Ferries. Reservations must be made online
48 hours in advance, or by phone (206) 464-6400 in the U.S.
Washington State Ferries also serves four major islands in the San
Juans. From east to west, they are Lopez Island, Shaw Island, Orcas
Island, and San Juan Island. Travel from Anacortes to the islands,
as well as among them, is always on a first-come, first served basis.
